My dream of running my own Yoga studio came true in April 2016 and here at TYS we take a slightly different approach to fitness. Amongst the many classes on offer, people can experience the gravity-defying freedom of Aerial Yoga that involves performing a series of exercises inspired by yoga and pilates, while hanging from a fabric hammock suspended about a metre above the ground.
It is wonderful to have a dedicated space for yoga in which to create a tranquil environment which encourages people to explore the many different aspects of yoga. I would welcome everyone to try Yoga, especially the Aerial Yoga (when Covid-19 restrictions lift a little) as it has many benefits as almost every part of the body is forced to move and stretch, toning strengthening and rehabilitating all the muscles and joints in the process.
Over the years our expert team of teachers has expanded as has our range of classes so I am sure you will find something to suit what you’re looking for and I look forward to you joining our most welcoming yoga community.
